Westport Monthy Housing Newsletter – June

Westport Sales in June were 52. This is up 6.1% from 49 in June of 2010. Sales/list price ratio in June moved down to 93.7% from 97.2% in May.

The median price of $1,126,500 in June was down 5.1% from $1,187,500 in May and down 2.0% from $1,150,000 in June of 2010. 3-month average sale price of $1,350,951 in June was very slightly up from $1,339,376 in May but down marginally from $1,354,042 in June of 2010.

Westport’s Inventory of 404 homes listed in June was up 2.5% from 394 in May but down 6.5% from 432 in June of 2010. New listings in June moved down to 84 from 87 in May.

The number of days a home was on the market before it sold was 95 in June. This is way up considerably from 80 days in May and up moderately from 91 days in June of 2010.
