Modern CT Farmhouse Part: 3

Have you ever been curious about what kind of house you’d choose if you were going to build a new one? I have 20+ years experience working with clients, developers, and architects in new home construction and my husband and I chose to build a Modern CT Farm house in Westport. It’s modern with an open flood plan, kitchen, and great room looking over the patio and gardens, while maintaining some formality with a separate dining room. This is the kind of hybrid floor plan that a lot of people are looking for right now.

References to classic farmhouse style show in the cupola, New England stone walls with fence, and barn-like doors on the garage.

Our architect Robert Storm emphasized the natural light with over-sized windows and high ceilings. It is sleek with metal finishes.

If you resonate with this style, let me know, and I can help you build your own.
