Sailing into September! All of the sudden, we are on the cusp of the fall season - the season that brings everything back home. We've had our summer fun and now we are back gathering in our kitchens for family dinners, homework sessions and late night cocoa. As home once again become the focus, it's important to make our surroundings as beneficial to efficiency as possible while still keeping it cozy for down time. I find this time of year great for reevaluating areas of my home that could use updating or adjusting so that the winter months run a smoothly as possible.

 

Before we know it, Halloween will be here and the holidays seem to start the very next day! final thoughts

It's always a little hard to say goodbye to summer, but I do have to admit that I love the fall season. Westport is simply beautiful this time of year and my garden is flourishing! The tranquility I feel working in my garden is simply unmatched with it's gorgeous colors and aroma. I just love it! And the hint of crispness on an early fall morning brings excitement of a new season and new things to come.
